According to a discussion paper on the Future of the Workforce published by the McKinsey Global Institute (Skill Shift, Automation and The Future of the Workforce), the three most in-demand skills by 2030 will be:
- Social and emotional skills
- Higher cognitive skills
- Technological skills
International business leaders participating in the MGI survey also touched upon “sub-skills” that will be in increased demand from people across their organizations, as to attain the three main skill sets:
